Active First Aid (Applying First Aid) HLTFA301B
This is a VETAB accredited course, also recognised by WorkCover NSW that covers the outcomes to recognise and respond to an emergency using basic life support measures.
Course Outline:
• Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
• Fractures and dislocations
• Burns & scalds
• Head, chest and spinal injuries
• Fainting and unconsciousness
• Bandaging techniques
• Severed limbs
• Poisoning, bites, stings plus much more
Training Course Outcomes:
After successful completion, participants will receive Nationally Recognised Certificates.
What to Bring:
• Completed workbook must be handed to a trainer on day of training
• Photo ID (i.e. Passport, Drivers licence, Photo ID card, Student card)
• Pen

6.5 hours + workbook to be completed prior to training date
