Why become a member of the AHA (NSW)?

The Australian Hotels Association (NSW) is the pre-eminent hospitality industry association in New South Wales, providing members with services, benefits and lobbying power that comes with having more than 90% of hotels across the State as members.

The AHA (NSW) represents members equally. From the largest premium accommodation hotel to the smallest country hotel, to hotels with gaming and wagering to nightclub style venues, the AHA (NSW) is the voice of our members – a voice that is listened to in all levels of Government and business. This is because of a proven track record of developing evidence-based strategies and responses to our member’s issues that achieves positive outcomes.

The AHA (NSW) offices are now firmly established in Macquarie Street, in the epicenter of Sydney’s political district. It has instantly proved its worth in terms of catering to our need to be in the face of politicians and is a highly sought-after venue for meetings, functions and events.

However, the key focus of the Association is to improve the bottom line for our members. Significant discounts or advantages for members with TAB, SKY and FOXSPORTS/AUSTAR, savings on energy costs, rebates on key entertainment products, discounts on industry training plus the most competitive prices for insurance and workers compensation through our specialist workers compensation provider are all helping our members meet the ever increasing costs of running a hotel.
