Awards for Excellence

 

The Australian Hotels Association (NSW) Awards for Excellence are recognised as the most prestigious awards in the hospitality industry. The awards honour the achievement of excellence in NSW hotels across a variety of segments including accommodation, dining, entertainment, marketing, training, community service and talented employees.

Separate Awards for Excellence events are held for AHA (NSW) Accommodation (3, 4 and 5 star hotels) and General Division (metropolitan and regional pubs/hotels).

The Accommodation Division Awards are open to all members of the Australian Hotels Association (NSW) Accommodation Division, who meet the nomination criteria as detailed in the nomination and information kit.

The General Division Awards are open to all “pub style” hotel members of the Australian Hotels Association (NSW) who meet the nomination criteria as detailed in the nomination and information kit. Hotels are classified as country or metropolitan, based on their Sub-Branch boundaries.

Each year the competition gets tougher as the quality of the services and facilities continues to reach even higher standards throughout the industry. The awards increase public awareness of the hotel industry with winners and finalists supported with an extensive media and public relations campaign. Finalists are presented with a certificate as well as a finalist logo and winners are presented with plaques and a winner’s logo which can be used for your hotel’s overall marketing and promotional campaign.

Many winners are also eligible to enter the high profile AHA National Awards.
