Annual General Meetings

The Australian Hotels Association (NSW) and the NSW Branch of Australian Hotels Association are required to hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM). This is usually held in conjunction with the April meeting of Delegates to Council each year.

The business of the AGM includes the presentation of the Annual Report, presentation of the auditor’s report and other business of which notice to the President has been given.

The next AGM is scheduled for 8 April 2014.

Special General Meetings

Where necessary, a Special General Meeting (SGM) of the Australian Hotels Association (NSW) and/or the NSW Branch of Australian Hotels Association can be convened by the President, a resolution of the Council or a petition of the lesser of at least 100 members or 5% of the membership.

A SGM is usually called to discuss industry issues of an urgent and important nature.
