There are two distinct entities based at the New South Wales office.
The main entity is the State Industrial organisation called the Australian Hotels Association (NSW).
The other entity is the NSW Branch of the Australian Hotels Association which is part of the national organisation known as the Australian Hotels Association.
Both the AHA (NSW) and the NSW Branch of the national organisation contain the same membership and governance structure.
Employers generally join both organisations and this enables the organisations, through provisions in the Rules and State legislation, to have the same persons hold positions as delegates to Council and members of the Executive Committee.
